Registration

You can smoothly get started using ChatDip by registering your phone number and staying connected to your friends, family, and businesses. You can download the ChatDip app from Google Play or the App Store. An active phone number is a must to use while registering an account for verification purposes. The only way you can activate your account is to confirm your phone number with a registration code. You will receive the code through SMS or phone call. You have to agree that you are solely responsible for activities that occur on your account whether you have authorized such activities or not. As a user, you need to agree to notify ChatDip immediately about the unauthorized use of your account to avoid disagreements.

Two-Step Verification

You will see a verification screen after you register your phone number successfully on ChatDip. The 2FA is an optional feature that adds more security to your account on ChatDip. The user creates and confirms a unique PIN that is needed to access your account when enabling this feature. The Two-Step Verification PIN is different from the registration code. You will have the option to enter your email address while enabling two-step verification. In case you forget your PIN, ChatDip will email you a reset link, and help protect your account.

Collection and Use of Information

When you register for the ChatDip Site and Services through the web interface, mobile app, APIs, and administration tools, we collect personal information that identifies you like complete name, contact number, email address, and other information that you deliver as a user. We obtain this information to work, deliver, enhance, comprehend, customize, help, or sell our service, whenever the user installs, accesses, or uses our assistance. The information we accept relies on how users utilize our services. We require precise details to deliver our services and without this approach, we can’t provide our services to the users. For example, a user must provide a phone number to initiate an account and use our benefits. If you use our app’s optional features, we collect further details to deliver these features. We will inform you about such collection, as applicable. If you decide not to give the essential information to use a segment, you will be incapable of using the feature. For example, you can’t share your location with anyone in your contacts if you do not authorize us to contain your location information. You can manage approvals through your settings menu on iOS and Android devices.
