Registration

You can use your mobile number as user name to register in our database to use ChatDip Messenger. To create an account with us you need to provide certain information like mobile phone number and gender (Optional).

Unless you are a parent who is creating an account for a child who is 13 year or older, you agree not to create an account on behalf of anyone other than yourself, and you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information. You agree that you are solely responsible for any activities that occur in connection with your account, whether or not you have authorized such activities.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Privacy and Terms

The ChatDip Messenger is a product of ConvexTech Inc. TX USA and it is providing functionality for free Text/Image/Audio/Video message for individual all over the world. Users can also change and share their status (Online, Do not Disturb and Away) along with their current short status up to 25 characters.

ChatDip takes your privacy seriously. We have created a Privacy Policy to inform you about the kind of information we may collect and the ways we may use it. Please review our Privacy Policy carefully.

You represent that you have read, understood and agreed to the terms of our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference and made a part of these Terms of Service.

We may use Your Content in a variety of different ways as permitted by our Privacy Policy, including publicly displaying it, reformatting it, incorporating it into reports, collections, marketing materials and other works, creating derivative works, summaries, or aggregations from it, promoting it, distributing it, and allowing others to do the same in connection with their own websites and media platforms. As such, you grant us (ConvexTech Inc.) the non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully sub licensable (through multiple tiers), transferable right to use Your Content for any purpose (including, without limitation, the rights to use, reproduce, publicly perform or display, distribute, adapt, publish, modify, translate, incorporate into other works in any form, media, or technology, and create derivative works of Your Content, in whole or in part, throughout the world in any media). Finally, you irrevocably waive, and cause to be waived, against ChatDip and its users any claims and assertions of moral rights or attributes with respect to Your Content.

    We gather and compile information and data about our users and it’s usage of the Service on a collective basis, in a manner which does not disclose or reveal any personally identifiable information about individual users. You understand, acknowledge, and agree that we are the sole owners of all such aggregated, anonymous data for all purposes, and have the unrestricted right to use such data and to disclose or distribute such data to third parties as we see fit, throughout the world, in any media or form.

    12. We collect information from or about your phones. If required and requested, then we may share the associated information with legal authorities (Law and enforcement agencies etc.). Below mentioned some examples of the device information we collect:

  12. Account Deletion

    13. You can also delete your account any time. When you delete your account, we delete things you have posted, such as your photos and status updates. Keep in mind that information that others have shared about you is not part of your account and will not be deleted when you delete your account. When you delete your account:

    1. You may not be able to login into chatdip Messenger
    2. Other people will not be able to contact you
    3. Other people will not be able to review your profile
  13. Legal request to share your information

We may access, preserve and share your information in response to a legal request (like a search warrant, court order or subpoena) if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so. This may include responding to legal requests from jurisdictions outside of the United States where we have a good faith belief that the response is required by law in that jurisdiction, affects users in that jurisdiction, and is consistent with internationally recognized standards. We may also access, preserve and share information when we have a good faith belief it is necessary to; detect, prevent and address fraud and other illegal activity; to protect ourselves, you and others, including as part of investigations; or to prevent death or imminent bodily harm.

      3. ChatDip only stores the data it needs to function properly — for as long as you want ChatDip to function.

      Private Chats

      Private chats use end-to-end encryption. There is no way for us or anybody else without direct access to your device to learn what content is being sent in those messages. We do not store your Private chats on our servers. We also do not keep any logs for messages in Private chats, so after a short period of time we no longer know who or when you messaged via Private chats.

      Media in Private Chats

      When Private message (text, photos, videos and voice messages) delivered to server then countdown timer will be started at sender side and same countdown timer will be started at received side after read/seen the message. Once selected time will be ended then message will be deleted automatically from both sites.

      Messages in Private Chats will be ordered to self-destruct. As soon as such a message delivered to server then countdown starts at sender side. When the time is out on both sides, both devices participating in a Private chat are instructed to delete the message (photo, video, etc.).

      You can disable Private chat in Settings or change the self-destruction time according to your requirement between 5 minutes to 24 hours.

      Contacts

      ChatDip uses phone numbers as unique identifiers. We ask your permission before syncing your contacts.

      When you install the ChatDip App, you’ll also be asked to allow us access to your mobile’s contacts. A copy of contacts (phone numbers and names whether they’re ChatDip members or not – but only name and phone number) will be collected and stored on our servers, mainly in order for us to be able to enable you and your contacts to connect.

      We store your contacts in order to notify you as soon as one of your contacts signs up for ChatDip and to properly display names in notifications.

    3. Deleting data
      4. Accounts

      If you would like to delete your account, you can do this on the Settings page. Deleting your account permanently removes all your messages, groups and contacts. This action must be confirmed via your ChatDip account and cannot be undone.

      Messages

      Everything you delete is deleted forever.

      When you delete a message, you delete it from your message history. ConvexTech goal is not to bring profit and we value the disk space on our servers greatly.

    Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

    PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY, SINCE IT LIMITS THE LIABILITY OF CONVEXTECH INC. EACH OF THE SUBSECTIONS BELOW ONLY APPLIES UP TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW. NOTHING HEREIN IS INTENDED TO LIMIT ANY RIGHTS YOU MAY HAVE WHICH MAY NOT BE LAWFULLY LIMITED.

YOU AGREE THAT THE SERVICE IS MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU ON AN “AS IS” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, AND THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE RISK THAT YOU MIGHT BE EXPOSED TO CONTENT THAT IS OFFENSIVE, INDECENT, INACCURATE, OBJECTIONABLE, OR OTHERWISE INAPPROPRIATE). WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE OPERATION OF THE SERVICE, THE SAFETY OR SECURITY OF THE SERVICE, OR ANY CONTENT INCLUDED OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

    B. WE MAKE NO CLAIMS OR PROMISES ABOUT THE CONDUCT OF THIRD PARTIES. ACCORDINGLY, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE THAT MIGHT ARISE FROM THE ACTIONS OF THIRD PARTIES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IF ANOTHER USER MISUSES YOUR CONTENT OR IDENTITY, OR IF YOU HAVE A NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE WITH A THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE).

    C. YOU AGREE THAT OUR MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR LOSSES OR DAMAGES THAT YOU SUFFER IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR ACCESS TO THE SERVICES OR CONTENT, FROM ALL CAUSES OF ACTION AND ALL THEORIES OF LIABILITY, WILL BE LIMITED TO AND WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (I) THE AMOUNT, IF ANY, YOU PAID DIRECTLY TO CHATDIP IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE ACTION GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR (ii) $100.

    D. CHATDIP DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, RELIANCE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO REPUTATION TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY, INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, COSTS OF PROCURING SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR CONTENT, LOSS OF INFORMATION OR DATA, OR ANY COMMUNICATIONS, INTERACTIONS OR MEETINGS WITH OTHER USERS OF THE SERVICES OR OTHER PERSONS WITH WHOM YOU COMMUNICATE OR INTERACT AS A RESULT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES), WHETHER BASED IN WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), PRODUCT LIABILITY OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR ACCESS TO THE SERVICE OR CONTENT, EVEN IF CHATDIP HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, AND EVEN IF A LIMITED REMEDY SET FORTH HEREIN IS FOUND TO HAVE FAILED OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
